The office announces 400 contractual job vacancies in various health cadres across districts in Tanzania. These positions are open to graduates from recognized higher education and health institutions with qualifications in Certificate, Diploma, or Degree levels. Available Positions
1. Medical Doctor (Grade II) – TGHS E
- Requirements:
- Degree in Medicine from a recognized institution.
- Completion of at least one year of internship.
- Registration and valid license from the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
2. Dental Therapist (Grade II) – TGHS B
- Requirements:
- Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (3 years) from a recognized institution.
- Registration and valid license from the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
3. Clinical Officer (Grade II) – TGHS B
- Requirements:
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine (3 years) from a recognized institution.
- Valid license from the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
4. Pharmaceutical Technologist (Grade II) – TGHS B
- Requirements:
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology (3 years) from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the Pharmacy Council.
5. Assistant Nursing Officer (Grade II) – TGHS B
- Requirements:
- Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Registration and valid license from the Tanzania Nurse and Midwifery Council.
6. Laboratory Assistant Technologist – TGHS A
- Requirements:
- Certificate in Health Laboratory Science (2 years) from a recognized institution.
- Registration and valid license from the Health Laboratory Practitioners’ Council.
7. Radiology Technologist (Grade II) – TGHS B
- Requirements:
- Diploma in Radiology/Radiography (3 years) from a recognized institution.
- Registration and valid license from the Medical Radiology and Imaging Professionals Council.
8. Laboratory Technologist (Grade II) – TGHS B
- Requirements:
- Diploma in Health Laboratory Sciences (3 years) from a recognized institution.
- Registration and valid license from the Health Laboratory Practitioners’ Council.
9. Enrolled Nurse (Grade II)
- Requirements:
- Two-year Nursing Certificate from a recognized institution.
- Registration and valid license from the Tanzania Nurse and Midwifery Council.
10. Assistant Pharmaceutical Technologist
- Requirements:
- Certificate in Pharmaceutical Technology (2 years) from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the relevant professional council.
General Eligibility Criteria
- Tanzanian citizenship.
- Age not exceeding 45 years.
- Fully certified in the relevant field, with a valid license.
- Not currently employed in the public service or mission hospitals funded by the government.
- Must possess a national ID (NIDA).
- Provide a copy of a birth certificate.
