The management of Baobab Hospital and Baobab Secondary School invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacancies:
Job type: Full-time
1. Position: General Surgeon
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor with Master’s Degree in General Surgery from an accredited College/University.
- Must be registered by the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT).
- Must possess a valid practicing licence.
2. Position: Internal Medicine (Physician)
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree of Internal Medicine from an accredited College/University.
- Must be registered by the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT).
- Must possess a valid practicing licence.
3. Position: Medical Doctor
Qualifications:
- Must have a Degree of Medicine or Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from an accredited College/University.
- Must be registered by the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT).
- Must possess a valid practicing licence.
4. Position: Assistant Nursing Officers
Qualifications:
- A Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery.
- Must be registered by Tanzania Nursing and Midwives’ Council (TNMC).
- Must possess a valid practicing licence.
5. Position: Medical Attendants
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Certificate in Nursing Assistant.
- Must possess a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE).
6. Position: Radiographer
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Radiology from an accredited College/University.
- Must be registered by the Medical Radiology and Imaging Practitioner Council (MRIPC).
- Must possess a valid practicing licence.
7. Position: Secondary School Teachers Specialized in the Following Subjects:
- English Language
- Biology
- Chinese Language
Qualifications:
- Possession of Bachelor Degree in Education with specializations in the mentioned subjects.
8. Position: Secondary School Vocational Education Teachers Specialized in the Following Fields:
- Carpentry and Joinery
- Welding and Fabrication
- Food Production
- Food and Beverage Sales and Services
- Horticulture
- Field Crop Production
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in the relevant field such as Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering; OR
- Must have attained Level 3 in Vocational Education in the relevant field.
- In both cases, possession of an Ordinary Diploma in Vocational Teachers’ Education will be an added advantage.
Salary: In all positions, the salary is negotiable, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
