The key purpose of this role is to be responsible for creating and sustaining a progressive learning environment for level 2 and front-line teams. This will be done by providing an effective service focused on the acquisition of competence to support brewery performance.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coach/mentor Level 2 and front-team members on VPO execution
  • Deliver training to the shop floor
  • Identify learning opportunities
  • Development and management of Apprentices
  • Facilitate VPO and operational training interventions for front-line team members
  • Responsible for the development and updating of training documentation in their respective areas
  • Manage the SKAP administrative processes including ensuring all personnel records for SKAP are updated and accurate
  • Drive departmental SKAP evolution and assessments
  • Drive adherence to the SKAP assessment plan as per the departmental schedule
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training
  • Facilitate the design of foundational practices
  • Facilitate and assist in the development of SOPS’s
  • Coach Team Leaders, and Level 1 teams in the effective application of all VPO practices
  • Coach front-line team members on effective problem-solving techniques using the appropriate problem-solving tools
  • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures on newly installed system/equipment
  • Drive OWD, training compliance and manage Aspiration system, Acadia, IAL, and other digital tools to support the learning platform.
  • Support VPO implementation by coaching frontline on the understanding of the KPI/PI tree, OWS, territorial concept, and individual performance management.
  • Facilitate Learning need analysis (LNA) and support training budget execution.
  • Drive weekly, monthly, and annual training buckets as per zone guidelines.
  • Resource-appropriate training solutions
  • Deliver training • Record training data
  • Evaluating The Effectiveness of Training
  • Provide a coaching resource for the Performance and Management Process (quantity and quality) for the site

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant Technical Qualification / Degree
  •  3-5 Years’ experience as a Team Leader / Supervisor
  • Minimum 2-3 months on the job training
  • Experience in FCMG is an added advantage
