Our client, a premier safari and tours company based in Arusha, Tanzania, is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Procurement Manager to join our team. This pivotal role requires a driven individual who has excellent skills with Toyota Land Cruiser 1HZ spare parts. Should have in-depth knowledge of Toyota Land Cruiser 1HZ spare parts to oversee the sourcing and purchasing of automotive spare parts. The ideal candidate will have strong supplier negotiation skills, industry experience, and a keen understanding of market trends to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers of Toyota Land Cruiser 1HZ spare parts.
2. Negotiate pricing, and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and conduct market research to source quality spare parts for Toyota Land Cruiser 1HZ at competitive prices.
3. Develop procurement plans to avoid shortages or overstocking.
4. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of the spare parts.
5. Ensure all purchased Toyota Land Cruiser 1HZ spare parts meet company quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
6. Work closely with the Workshop team to verify spare part compatibility with Toyota Land Cruiser 1HZ.
7. Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies.
8. Prepare procurement budgets and control costs while ensuring quality standards.
9. Analyse expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
10. Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts.
11. Generate reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procuring Toyota Land Cruiser 1HZ spare parts or automotive spare parts.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on automotive spare parts Toyota Land Cruiser 1 Hz preferred.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and supply chain skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with automotive mechanical components, particularly Toyota Land Cruiser model 1HZ.
• Ability to assess part quality and compatibility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in working in a busy pace environment.
