As Treasurer Accountant at Knauf Gypsum Tanzania Limited, you will be responsible for all the accounting transactions (EFT’s, deposits, other payments in the company’s cash books and accounts with its bankers. Also responsible for the weekly/daily cash available reporting to management and monthly cash flow projections.
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring accurate and timeous recording in SAP of all banking related transactions.
- Maintain and manage all financial records, SAP logs and spreadsheets.
- Ensuring conformity of company’ bank account with IFRS.
- Preparation of weekly payment plan and ensure alignment with respective departments.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations in respect of overseas payments.
- Monthly reconciliation of bank statements against the general ledger accounts and assigned clearing accounts.
- Liaison with all the company’s bankers telephonically and via email.
- Check and verify cash transactions, investigate, and propose possible resolution for any discrepancies.
- Responsible for interest and debt analysis as well as the timeous reporting to management.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as Treasurer Accountant.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
- Proficiency in SAP
