Location: Dar es Salaam
Job Description:
As a driver at LCH BUILDERS, your responsibilities will include:
- Routine check-up of the vehicles
- Assist in monitoring vehicle movements to ensure that company vehicles are properly assigned
- To monitor expiration and renewal of vehicle insurance and other safety documents.
- Transport parcels or luggage and collect mails when required
- Maintain log book for each trip
- Assist any other duties as required by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Tanzanian citizenship
- Secondary school level
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with at least 5years and above of driving experience, preferably with VIP driving experience.
- Have graduated from a recognized driving school
- Ability to read and write in Swahili and perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Ability to communicate in English, with a willingness to learn basic conversation for security and safety of passengers.
- Mental ability to handle receipts; read maps, road signs, maintain journey log etc.
- Working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to be flexible and contribute to the company in other duties as required.
