We are currently seeking a Chinese Translator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating a variety of documents, including but not limited to, business communications, technical documents, and legal texts.
Responsibilities
- Translate a wide range of documents accurately and efficiently from Chinese to English or Swahili and vice versa.
- Ensure translated documents maintain the intended meaning and tone of the original content.
- Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality translations in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
- Strong understanding of Chinese and English grammar, syntax, and vocabulary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Graduate in translation, linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
