VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Ministry of Health (MOH) through Global Fund (GF) Grants is looking for enthusiastic, creative and energetic individuals whom will work under a three years (1st January, 2024 to 31st December, 2026) contractual agreement to fill the following 123 vacant positions:

 

NATIONAL TUBERCULOSIS AND LEPROSY PROGRAM GF CYCLE (NTLP)

CTRL Manager (1 Position)

 

Location: Dar es Salaam

 

Reporting to: Head of CTRL

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist Head of CTRL on planning, implementation and monitoring of all activities related to TB diagnostics

 

  1. Supervise and oversee technical functions of CTRL and zonal laboratories

 

  • Monitor all patients’ results released from the laboratory in accordance to standards and procedures

 

  1. Identify staff training needs, training program and recommend to the head of CTRL

 

  1. Monitor all referral laboratories for the quality of services conjunction Any other duty as directed by head of CTRL

 

 

 

 

Experience and Qualifications

 

  1. Degree in laboratory sciences

 

  1. At least 5 years of relevant TB laboratory diagnostics coordination

 

  • Proven technical program management experience and knowledge on TB diagnostics.

 

  1. Basic computer skills

 

  1. Experience interacting with development partner

 

  1. Experience with management of TB commodities including supply chain management and its systems

 

 

Terms of Employment: 3 years Contract (Renewable based on Performance and availability of funds).

    1. Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates;
    2. Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma transcripts;
    3. Form IV and Form VI National Examination Certificates;
    4. Full Registration & Valid License
    5. Internship Certificate
    6. Birth certificate.
    7. National ID.
    8. Attaching copies of the following certificates is strictly not accepted
    9. Form IV and form VI results slips;
    10. Testimonials and all Partial transcripts.
  4. Applicants employed in the Public Service should route their application letters through their respective employers.
  5. If your names in your academic certificates are different from Birth Certificate and National ID you are required to have (Deed Pool from The Registrar of Oath at the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Human Settlements Development.
  • Applicants should indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts.
  • Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced level education should be verified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE).
  1. Certificates from Foreign Universities should be verified by The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
  2. Applicants with special needs/case (disability) are supposed/advised to indicate.
  3. Presentation of forged certificates and other information will necessitate to legal action.
