Corporate Sales Executive- Broking – (2300002H)
Job Purpose and Key responsibilities
Job Purpose
The job holder will be responsible for growth of revenues for brokers at the head office to meet set annual premium targets. The role will report to the Broking Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Secure new business through brokers.
2. Maintain excellent customer service to brokers.
3. Service existing business through brokers and follow up to ensure renewals.
4. Ensure payment of premiums before policy attaches.
5. Prepare weekly sales reports as required.
6. Undertake initial underwriting in accordance with set guidelines to ensure sound acceptance of risk.
7. Follow and adhere to underwriting guidelines and standards as communicated by Underwriting Manager from time to time
8. Follow up to ensure brokers are paid commissions timely and accurately
9. Guide and assist brokers on claims processing for their clients.
10. Respond to brokers and client enquiries.
11.Deliver on performance requirements as defined in the strategy map and personal scorecard.

Working Relationships
Internal Relationships:
Accountable to the Broking Manager
Required to liaise and work closely with Underwriting, Finance, Claims and other departments as may be necessary

Britam customers
Brokers
Insurance companies
TIRA and other regulatory institutions
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

Bachelors’ degree (Insurance option preferred)
Professional qualification in Insurance (CII certificate or equivalent)
2-4 year’s relevant experience in the insurance industry
