LFP is responsible for preparation, organization and execution of lifting operations in safe and efficient manner
Other responsibilities of the LFP are the following:
- Analyses the gap between this Lifting Standard, Local Legislation and COMPANY CONTRACTOR’s Lifting Management System
- Develop and guardian of COMPANY CONTRACTOR’s lifting operation procedures.
- Always ensure compliance with this Lifting Standard throughout their perimeter of responsibilities, with reference to all lifting operation.
- Act as role of lifting advisor to supervisors and workforce.
- Support their perimeter with technical information relating to Project Lifting Management System.
- Reviews and approves non-critical (routine and simple), under Site Lifting Specialist delegation.
- Reviews and validates critical (complicated and complex) lifting operations plans and ensures their supervision after Lifting Technical Authority/Site Lifting Specialist approval and agreement.
- Ensures feedback to the Lifting Technical Authority/Site Lifting Specialist.
- Key Performance Indicator follow-up.
- Review/audit annual scope of inspection and assessment of lifting operations.
- Participate in internal and external review/audits.
- Participates in incident investigation
