POSITION: Inventory Officer (1 Position).
LOCATION: HQ – Dar es salaam
Invade Agro Limited is looking for Inventory Officer who will maintain and plan companies’ stock inventories to meet business requirements, be responsible for leading and coordinating stocks taking activities of the company located in different region in Tanzania. Develop and implement effective stock taking plan and strategies, prepare and present accurate detailed stock taking reports.
Job description.
• Coordinating stock taking activities.
• Develop and implement stock taking strategy to meet the company’s objectives.
• Control and manage budgeted and unbudgeted stock taking expenses.
• Introduce innovative ways of stock control.
• Overseeing stock control and liaising with the sales, and finance teams.
• To generate report from monthly stock taking activities.
• Forecasting stock requirements and risks of shortages.
• Analyzing supply chain data to plan purchases and replenishment.
• Conducting inventory audits.
• Monitoring budgets, prices, and supplier contracts.
• Tracking movement of stock.
Qualifications required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or similar field.
• Not less than 4 years of experience in Inventory control and planning, preferably in the Agribusiness industry.
• Ability to perform a variety of inventory control procedures and practices.
• Knowledge of Quick Book, Accounting software and MS Excel is a MUST.
